The DIAMOND project has been presented in an online session held within the TRI’s Showcase event “Transport Research & Innovation”, organised by the Transport Research Institute and celebrated on the 15th of June.
The workshop was focused on showcasing current Transport Research Institute research projects, initiatives and industrial collaborations.
Professor Wafaa Saleh, DIAMOND project partner from the Edinburgh Napier University has participated in the session focused on “Inclusive and Sustainable” and delivered the presentation “Gender inequality in the 21st century: DIAMOND evidence”.
In her presentation Wafaa Saleh explained the main work done by the project’s consortium, the main achievements, and the main results of the four project’s use cases, especially the outcomes of the research study done in bike sharing services.
The session, aimed to discuss about topics related to sustainability and inclusivity, also counted with the participation of representatives from the European CIVITAS 2020 initiative projects Park4SUMP and SUNRISE.
