This DIAMOND’s use case on public multimodal transport has investigateed and understanded women’s needs as passengers of metro and urban railway public infrastructures in order to improve the public transport service adapted to all people.
This use-case studied woman’s expectations in terms of accessibility, safety and convenience, which have been identified as major influence factors of women using public transport infrastructures. Women expectations and challenges in such fields are very interesting to study, taking into account possible differences in age, family composition, culture or sexual identity.
