The Toolkit4Fairness is an easy-to-use web application that offers mobility operators and MaaS services a resource to evaluate their level of inclusiveness with respect to different socio-demographic groups, with a particular focus on women. Based on the results of the evaluation, they obtain insights and recommendations that can guide them towards the improvement of their service.
This data-based platform has been developed as part of DIAMOND H2020 project and can be applied to different types of transport modalities, including railways and public multimodality transport, automated vehicles and bike-sharing services from the users and professionals’ perspective.
With the mission to become the reference solution for European transport stakeholders willing to assess gender issues, Toolkit4Fairness guides transport operators and planners on becoming more inclusive from a gender perspective to meet the needs and expectations of women as users of different modes of transport and as workers in the sector.
