DIAMOND partner Chris Blache, from Genre & Ville, participated at the Webinar “Villes & Transports” organized by Think Tank Marie Claire Agir pour l’Egalité, on July 9th. The webinar was aimed to discuss about issues related to the development and use of public spaces, mobility devices and future challenges to promote urban policies for more gender inclusive cities and transport.
During the webinar, Blache participated in the second panel “Comment construire une mobilité durable et lutter contre le harcèlement dans les transports?”, focused on discuss how to define a transport offer corresponding to women’s needs and expectations and how to fight against the feeling of insecurity that a lot of women feel while travelling in transport systems.
Blache took this opportunity to talk about Diamond project, and gave a general overview about the work done, the objectives and the expected impacts.
