The DIAMOND project has been represented in the 5th edition of the European Conference on results from road transport research in H2020 projects (#H2020RTR21). The event has been celebrated in a hybrid format from 29th – 30th of March.
Maria Chiara Leva, DIAMOND Dissemination Manager from the Technological University of Dublin, has participated in the session “New/future and inclusive mobility patterns” to present some of the main results achieved during the project execution.
The presentation delivered included a general overview about the project, highlighting the data collection campaign, methodology and some key findings obtained in different fields such as rail, automated vehicles, bike sharing services and factors influencing career choices for women working in transport sector.
On the other hand, Maria Chiara Leva has explained the recommendations created to make transport use and employment more appropriate and friendly for women and introduced the fairness maturity model designed and the DIAMOND toolkit developed.

The conference had the objective to gather Horizon 2020 funded projects on road transport areas to give the attendees a general idea of the main goals achieved and to identify the next steps needed to reach the overall European transport policy objectives.
The event has been organised by the European Commission together with the European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC), the European Green Vehicles Initiative Association for the 2Zero partnership (EGVIAfor2Zero) and the Connected, Cooperation and Automated Mobility Association (CCAM).
