The DIAMOND project has been represented during the European Transport Conference (ETC) organised by the Association of European Transport and celebrated in a virtual format from 13th – 15th of September.
Maria Chiara Leva, lecturer at the Technological University of Dublin, participated in the session “Appraisal of inclusive Design” and delivered the presentation titled “Fairness Characteristics and User Satisfaction for Rail Users: A Case Study Comparing an Easter European Carrier and a Southern European One”.
During the presentation, Maria Chiara Leva took the opportunity to introduce DIAMOND as a key project working for a more inclusive and efficient transportation system from a gendered perspective and presented the results of the user satisfaction data collection surveys carried out with users of two railway providers in Southern and Eastern Europe.
The European Transport Conference (ETC) is an annual conference which attracts transport policy makers, practitioners and researchers from all over Europe and beyond.
