DIAMOND project has been presented at the Gender Equality Matters (GEM) project Conference, hosted online by DCU Institute of Education on February 11th – 12th.
The Gender Equality Matters (GEM) project has the aim to tackle gender-based violence through a gender equality lens.
During the session “Challenging Gender Inequality”, Maria Chiara Leva and Dr Mary Kinahan, Lecturers at the Technological University of Dublin and dissemination leaders for DIAMOND, presented the paper “Fairness and inclusivity for Women in Transport: Recent Updates on EU Research Projects and Preliminary Results”. This paper presents DIAMOND project’s research, as well as its methodology and the main results achieved.
All the abstracts of the papers presented in the Conference are included in the GEM Conference book of abstracts.
The Conference presented a programme with a variety of sessions and workshops focused on different topics such as rights and equality, gender stereotyping and the media and challenging gender inequality.
